Which “dead language” do you think speaking in “tounges” sounds like?

The Biblical form of speaking in tongues which came by God’s power is spoken of in the book of Acts. In was on the day of Pentecost when the Apostles were gathered together that the spirit of God came upon then looking like flames of fire on their heads. They then found that when they talked to the people who had come up to the feast at Jerusalem from surrounding countries that they could be understood by these people in their own languages. This was to spread the Gospel of the coming Kingdom to the lands round about as people returned to their homes. The type of speaking in tongues that modern churches try is surely an affectation and I don’t believe it serves any useful purpose. Especially as we are told that these gifts would end but people may like to show off which isn’t what is wanted.
