As of Visual Composer 7.1 EhP1 we plan to support: XMLA: NW BI 3.5 und BI7.0 MDX Provider, MSSQLServer/Analysis Services 2005 JDBC: MaxDB 7.0 und 7.1, MS SQLServer 2005 These connectivities are supported for the Visual Composer browser version only, not for the Visual Composer Eclipse version at the moment. You may connect other data sources via JDBC or XMLA but there is no official SAP support for connections other that the ones mentioned above.
