Which CPU upgrades will work with my Dell Inspiron 6000?

The Dell Inspiron 6000 motherboard uses a 479 mPGA socket type, which will work with socket 479 type CPUS, including the Intel Pentium M standard voltage (Dothan) models, 730, 735,740, 745,… 780.

Well, I recently had a Dell inspiron 1000. And i stripped it of its parts and the CPU was removable. However i’m not clear whether or not the processor was at a Maximum GHz of what the motherboard could handle. Maybe the Inspiron 6000 is simialr enought to the 1000 that the CPU is removable.
