Which country will win in a war between India and China (without using nuclear weapons against each other)?
If neither army was supported by any other nation and there were no use of nuclear weapons I would have to say China. Reasons: China has double of the standing active military than India. China with 2,255,000 and India with 1,325,000 China’s navy out shadows India by 5.31 to one. China’s land based weaponry also beats India’s 3:1 China’s air force wins with a 2:1 ratio The scenario: The war begins and India heads to their mountains to hold the line. With the numbers against them that is all that they could do. They are outnumbered 2:1 at least in every category so their will be no chance for them to launch any successful attack. So while both armies are held up in the Himalayas both unable to move China’s navy finally arrives south of India. Again outnumbered two to one and this time without any tactical advantage such as mountains they are wiped out. now India is forced to pull a large number of men out of the northern front to guard any naval invasion that China could send.
