Which country first invented the numbers we use today. not numerals?
They’re from the Arabs. The way that they were designed, was by the number of corners in the number, which is why in Britian and other countries, the seven has a line through it, while in America it is deleted, because we don’t count corners anymore. If you take all the numbers and straighten all the corners, you’ll see. The 9 is kind of hard to get, the original looked like a small letter g, with the line in the middle going through the vertical line to make a cross, 2 is a Z shape, 7 also has a little detailed line going down and to the right from the top horizontal line to make the seventh corner.
