Which countries still have capitol punishment?
Most recent figures I can find from Amnesty International show that 98 countries still have have capital punishment, although 30 of those haven’t used it in 10 years. 38 US states allow the death penalty. Among countries using the death penalty: US, Cuba, Guatemala, China, Kazahkstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Belarus, India, Bangla Desh, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Mongolia, Japan, Noth Korea, South Korea, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Azherbijian, Lithuania, Turkey, Armenia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Yemen, Lebabon, Israel, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Syria, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Lybia, Chad, Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Dem Rep. of Congo, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Burundi, Rwanda, Tanganyika, Djibouti, Botswana.
