Which countires other than holland permit weed being sold and smoked in cafes etc?
Note that cannabis coffee shops are NOT strictly legal in Holland. Smoking and buying weed is only tolerated in certain designated coffee shops in certain areas of certain cities (with Amsterdam of course being the most famous one). Aside from these tolerance policies, the Netherlands is actually very strict on drugs, and they come down hard on anyone trying to bring drugs of any sort (including weed) into the country. Outside of the Netherlands, the only country I know of that tolerates cannabis coffee shops is Canada, with both Toronto and Vancouver having a small number of these shops. Denmark used to have a few, but does not tolerate them any longer.
