Which contributes more to GDP: building a medium-sized family home or building a five-storied office block?

Are you suggesting that both cost the same and therefore which activity results in an increased GDP or are you just assuming that one will cost more in direct terms. If that’s the case obviously it will be the 5 storied office block simply because a medium sized family home could easily be achieved in under half a million dollars while a five storied office block would easily cost more than twice that. Therefore, the economic activity involved would be far more and even its residual effects on the multiple factor.
