Which Computer Processor is faster for a laptop?
If your mother needs a computer for basic use, I would go for the HP. Processor speed makes little difference when you are running basic applications. Seeing as she is just learning how to use a laptop, there is no reason to spend more money than you have to. $170 could be used towards a lot of different things. I can’t answer for which would have the longest battery life between those specific models. A few of my friends run laptops with similar hardware and they get between 2.5 and 4 hours run time on a full charge. It all depends on what you are doing.
