Which components of socioeconomic status are most strongly related to childrens social and cognitive outcomes?
Most of the recent research has emphasized the effects of poverty on childrens outcome, but other factors such as parents level of education, especially that of the mother, play a significant role. We want to increase our understanding about the relative importance of various components of SES at different ages.
