Which complete waffle (waffle and pancake) mix (add water only) is best for waffles?
I have found some great mixes online. These are mixes made by small companies that don’t get a chance in the big supermarkets so that makes them even more desirable in my mind. Amazon has free shipping for many of the mixes I like. I found heartland’s malted vanilla waffle and pancake complete mix to be exceptional. Also, the Pamela’s brand of baking mixes were very good as well. Enjoy and help the small companies out along the way.

ive used krusteaz twice and like the waffle mix. but, its not just a water only mix. no true waffle batter mix is add water only. if the mix you choose is add water only then, it is not a true waffle mix but is indeed a pancake mix instead. Krusteaz uses your eggs, oil and water or milk in the batter and it works well. bisquick pancake/waffle mix is only pancake mix that is sold at a higher price because it says waffle mix on the package. making waffles from scratch is real simple. use the recipe i suggest to make your waffles with. i make waffles more often than pancakes and use this recipe often besides my sourdough recipe. Good Luck!
