Which company have you found to be the best site hosting and web based email company?
I like hostgator for regular hosting, and rapidvps for dedicated servers. I used hostgator for over a year and never had a problem with them. Hostgator uses cPanel which makes things easier, especially if your not used to managing HTTP or email services. Very good pricing, and have been down only 125 minutes since sept 2005. I deleted my answer to one of your other questions without realizing that I couldn’t re-answer it… it was concerning platforms for hosting: This was my answer: Thats a matter of preference for most practical reasons. Each platform has different down falls with certain types of programing languages, but Linux is generally considered more secure and stable, but only marginally now a days. Windows technology will end up costing more, and development can cost more as well. I see that you have a lot of questions, feel free to email me and I can probably put you on the right course.
