Since psychology is typically not a limited enrollment program, it is typically easier. In physical therapy, the number of seats available at a particular school is regulated by CAPTE. This means, that only a certain number of students can be accepted…no matter how good one’s grades and GRE score are up 70-80% of qualified applicants are not admitted. Of course, this also depends on how many people apply to a particular program each year. Whereas, psychology is typically an open enrollment program and one does not have to “compete” for admission to the program.
