Which coffee machine or brewer is the best at dispensing HOT coffee?
This is just opinion, having gone through countless coffee making devices in the last 10 years or so, but… I think if you want really hot coffee, you may want to consider alternatives to a drip brew coffee maker. The hottest coffee I’ve been able to brew at home has come from either a percolator or a vaccuum pot. If you want boiling hot, the percolator is a safe bet. The technology works by boiling the coffee, so when it’s done brewing, the temperature will be close to that heat (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coffee_percolator). Some people feel that brewing with a percolator ruins the taste (because of the boiling involved in the brewing process). Others love the taste of coffee from a percolator. Really it’s just a matter of personal taste. I have a Faberware electric percolator, and it makes scalding hot, decently good tasting coffee. It’s just as easy to use and clean as

Being able to brew hot coffee is an area in which many a budget coffee makers fail.
