Which codecs use the Hardware Acceleration capabilities of the DaVinci devices?

0

Some devices from the DaVinci family have hardware accelaration capabilities to increase the processing power for video applications: • DM6446 has a video coprocessor • DM643x, DM6443 do not have any hardware accelerator When a video coprocessor is present it is usually used for encoding functions that require more processing power. The codec datasheet documents if a codec uses the hardware accelerator. The datasheet is included in the codec evaluation package.
