Which childrens charities receive funds from the CIBC Childrens Foundation?
Funds raised on Miracle Day are distributed to more than 400 charities across Canada. Wholesale Banking and CIBC Wood Gundy offices direct the funds raised locally to charities in their communities. Each year the Foundation publishes an Investment Review highlighting how the Miracle works all year round to support children who are in need. A broad range of charities benefit from Miracle Day. Whether it is a hot meal to start the day, shelter in the midst of crisis, extra help with schoolwork or the fulfillment of a child’s special wish, Miracle Day touches the lives of hundreds of young people. Examples of local children’s charities include: emergency shelters; counseling; education and recreational opportunities; meal programs; and special programs for vulnerable children.
