Which charities help abroad?
I really like Compassion International. I have been sponsoring a boy in Colombia for 4 years now and an Ethiopia girl for a year. Compassion International helps children with their economic, social, spiritual and physical needs. It is an amazing charity! It is SO much more than writing a check every month. It is about a relationship you develop with your sponsored child. I have been down to Colombia twice to visit my child. Meeting my sponsored child has changed my life. I now know I am really making a difference in his life. I get 4 to 6 letters from him every year and sometimes pictures too. For their birthday and Christmas I send my sponsored children a little extra money and they send me pictures and letters showing me what they got. Compassion International helps children in 25 different countries. All over Africa, South America, Central America and the Caribbean and Asia. I would love to sponsor more children if I could because I know I am making their life better. Compassion Int
