I presume you are talking about the 6th book because nobody knows who dies or die in the 7th one. Dumbledore. He goes out of the castle with Harry to find a horcrux, when he returns, there is a Dark Mark over the Astronommy Tower, they both fly up to the top, Harry is under his invisibility cloak and when they hear footsteps, Dumbledore freezes Harry to stop him from moving. In that moment, Draco Malfoy arrives and disarms Dumbledore. But he can’t manage to kill him, and Dumbledore persuades him to change sides. But that’s when the other detheaters arrive, and Snape comes and kills him.
