Which cells can I use for alamarBlue® tests?

alamarBlue® has been successfully used with a wide range of cells including bacteria, yeast, fungi, protozoa and cultured mammalian cells. To date, it has been suitable for use with most cell types tested. Whole blood and leukocytes are not recommended as the results are difficult to read and leukocytes metabolize the alamarBlue®.
