2006 BMW M3, 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX Sedan, 2007 Nissan 350Z Coupe NISMO, 2008 Dodge Charger SRT8, 2007 Dodge Ram SRT or 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 A: Based on the Criteria you mentioned, the Subaru and Nissan would both be winners. Too close to call between those two. The M3 is probably just as good, but it costs a lot more, and it’s not necessarily worth it given your criteria. The SRT8 is probably comparable to the other cars except in the area of fuel consumption. The trucks don’t have any place in this contest. I’m surprised you’d even consider something like a truck, when the criteria are speed, mileage, reliability, handling, and insurance. Trucks aren’t how we get speed, mileage, and handling in the same vehicle. Dee is right about the vette. I don’t have one, but on paper it’s a huge performance bargain. Very few cars ever made will keep up even with the standard vette.
