Depends. A Type-R Integra will run laps around an Eclipse RS. A base Integra would get lapped by an Eclipse GS-T. However in top trim on both cars (Type-R vs GSX) the Eclipse GSX would win. Modified again it depends but if you modify an Integra to it’s limits and an Eclipse to it’s limits the eclipse would win. However Eclipses are not the most reliable cars on earth while Integras are pretty reliable. An Eclipse with a gear or two broken on the tranny will get killed by an Integra that is running at full strength. With either car you can put in intake, downpipe, headers, cat back, nitrous oxide, advanced timing, higher compression pistons, turbochargers, superchargers, cams, intercoolers, underdrive pulleys, ported heads, and everything else people do to cars to make them fast.
