In an age when there are hundreds of television channels, there’s a decent chance that you’ll be able to find a TV show that you like to watch. Unfortunately, with economics being what they are, there’s also a really good chance that it will be cancelled. The network execs have to answer to their stockholders and are less and less likely to take time to let shows grow an audience. Or, if the size of a series’ audience declines, they often have to axe them as well. Here’s a quick listing of shows that won’t be back for the 2009 — 2010 TV season. If your favorite is on the list, you have our sympathies. Sadly, there will be many more cancellations before the season is finished.
