Which boxer was better ali or frazier?
Muhammad Ali was a much better boxer in nearly every way. Joe Frazier was a relentless puncher but he did not have KO power like Forman or Joe Louis. Frazier was very tenacious and had the stamina of a demon. I dare say Frazier would have lost ALI 1 had it happened as it should have, in late 69. Naturally, had ALI never been forced into exile the fight would have happened in 69 instead of 71. ANY version of ALI between the Cleveland Williams fight and his exile after the Zora Foley, would have been more than a hand full for Frazier. Frazier did win the 1971 battle but he lost the war. He was never the same after the first ALI fight. Take this and the fact that ALI would have still maintained his speed, added with more power because there would be no problem with bursitis, which was caused by his 3yr.-8mo. time off.
