Which BMW 5 series sedan is better and why?
Every 5 series sedan in general has the same frame, body panels, and interior. The differences are mainly the engine choice, all wheel drive, or the M5 which has lots of subtle changes to make it sportier and more exclusive. Then engines available are the 3 liter base engine, the 3 liter turbocharged engine, the 5 liter V-8, and the 5 liter V-10 in the M5. The the larger or turbocharged engines cost more and have worse gas mileage, but are more rewarding when you press on the gas. There is also the all-wheel drive option which is useful if you frequently have snow during the winter or often drive snow covered roads.
