Which Blackberry models do not work with hyber technology?
BlackBerry “flip” models do not contain the Hall effect sensors and will not react to the hyber magnets. Three magnets are present in each hyber to mate with the sensor in the BlackBerry. There is no top, bottom or side to the hyberpadTM. As long as the phone is lined up to the pad the BlackBerry will go into “hyber” mode. Skins are beneficial when the hyberpadTM is subject to movement (car, airplane, etc) to keep the magnet and sensor in alignment.
