There sure are. And a lot of them are very similar. Unfortunately, a lot of them are junk too. The most popular are uTorrent (microtorrent) and Vuze (formerly Azureus). So I’d go with one of them. uTorrent scores big in being very small and taking up very little memory and processor time. It’s got all the features you’ll ever need and a lot more besides and it’s widely supported. Vuze is a more fully featured client which also has distribution deals with commercial channels. This means that you can pay to download legal torrents of some of your favourite shows. Prices are reasonable and often first episodes are free. Apart from that, it’s a fully featured bit torrent client that you can download illegal stuff on too.
