Which Birth control pill is right?
From my experience, low dose birth control pills are the best way to avoid a lot of side effects. (I think especially for people who are starting birth control for the first time, like me.) I have now tried 3 different kinds of B.C. pills. The first two I tried for about two months each and I had horrible side effects from both of them, (they both had 35 mcg of ethinyl estradiol.) I became extremely depressed, I was extremely sick to my stomach every night, vomiting, I would get angry and irritated really easily, and I was breaking out worse than when I started, (I break out regularly which is one of the reasons why I wanted to start birth control.) I was a complete and total mess. So, I finally decided that I should try a lower dose birth control. I just started Kariva (20 mcg of ethinyl estradiol,) the generic of Mircette, like 4 days ago.
