Which basic communication skill is easiest to employ?
In my own opinion, mimicry is an easy skill to employ. Most people like it when you “speak their language.” For instance, if you’re talking with someone who is rather brazen and intense, you would do well to speak in the same manner. The same thing applies to the opposite end of the spectrum. If someone is speaking in a reserved tone, it would help you identify with them to also speak in a reserved and calm way.
