Which auto parts store will loan diagnostic tools out?
I have had this done at Advance Auto Parts. They can plug a computer in to your car to check things out, but you would probably have to bring your battery in to to see if it is okay. They also have a machine at Advance Auto Parts what will test your alternator. All testing is free. I have had really good warranty support from Advance Auto Parts, and the local store has a really great set of people that work there.
