Which attraction is better, Disneyland or California Adventures?
They are next to each other but they are separate parks. Disneyland is the classic, of course, and it’s much bigger than California Adventure. I find California Adventure to be better for adults and older kids. It has more thrill-type rides and there are places to drink cocktails, beer and wine, which you will not find at Disneyland (unless you get an opportunity to visit Club 33 – you have to be invited by a member.). Disneyland is a full-on, all-day trip with lots more to do for younger kids. You can see everything in California Adventure in a few hours (depending on the crowds, of course). If you are planning a vacation where you will have a couple of days to do the whole thing, buy a park-hopper pass (I think that’s what they call it), so you can visit both parks on different days. They are both worth experiencing.
