• The client layer: It comprises of all the different clients that connect the NetXplorer server. • The server layer: It incorporates the database, that is, the actual application of NetXplorer and manages and communicates with the various clients having an access to the system. • The agent or collection layer: This is an optional component that gives the NetEnforcer the ability to be managed by the NetXplorer and hence support the management functions.
