Corneal Ring is more round-shaped (with a fusiform cross-section) as compared to the triangular-shaped cross-section former rings. It also has a larger cross-section area, this increasing its effectiveness. The Corneal ring has a 4.7mm inner edge, compared to the Ferrara ring or Keraring 4.4mm inner edge.
