Which are the best flying schools in Australia to do you e commercial pilot licence?
I noticed your question regarding Bendigo Aviation, and since you’re obviously eyeing off south eastern Australia, thought I could help more. I trained with Sharp Aviation (now Sharp Airlines by trade) in Hamilton, in Western Victoria – they run a full time commercial pilot’s licence course over approximately 18 months, followed up by the offer of up to a year’s flying experience on RPT and charter services…. Sharp are a difficult school to get into due to demand, and they DO work you hard (believe me!) but it is intensely rewarding to succeed, they are located in a good area for flight training (quiet airspace but close to control zones and interesting weather for instrument training) – and I think this year they are opening up a second annual course for crew (due to demands for new pilots.) Its well worth a look – www.sharpaviation.com.au Also, I’m told Air South in Adelaide, SA are excellent but I can’t tell you much about them – as are apparently Moorabbin and Ballarat Aviation S
