D’Addario strings are always good for the price. As with all strings, you may find the brilliance of the tone drops off after a month or so though you might not notice this until your ears get attuned to the sound you want from your guitar. You can prolong the good tone by never playing your guitar with dirty or sticky fingers and wiping the strings after playing – Some people use things like ‘Fast Fret’ but it is expensive as a cleaner.
