WHICH ARE SLS FREE SHAMPOOS & TOOTHPASTE in INDIA?
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is pretty harmless, though in shampoo it can cause irritation in a very small percentage of people. If you are looking for SLS – free shampoo because you are concerned about your own health, I hope you have taken the following steps first, since they all pose statistically-significant higher health risks. -Do not drive or ride in motorized vehicles. -Do not go outside if it is raining, or might rain. -Do not smoke, drink alcohol or eat food. -Do not live or work in buildings that are equipped with gas or electricity – To my knowledge all the shampoos and toothpastes contain this SLS. Though the manufacturers mark it as SLS-free, they have fewer harsh chemicals. I have come to know that DOVE brand does not really contain this SLS and you can try. Alternately, you can use herbal products like Soapnut, Sihaikai, etc. where you can avoid skin irritation.
