Which all countries provide weapons to the Mexican army [ if any nation does]?
The Mexican government follows a dual policy of arms economy and non-alignment when it comes to buying weapons. Due to constant funding issues, the Mexican Government has a history of trying to buy as cheaply as possible. Unfortunately, this has resulted in some poor choices for the Mexican Navy and Air Force. Additionally, they have a goal of self-producing as much as feasible, which has resulted in a small initial batch of foreign purchased weapons, followed by increasing numbers of indigenously produced follow-on equipment. The Mexican Army has done a much better job of arms procurement and production. The majority of small arms used by the Mexican Army are of Belgian and German designs (i.e.: G3 rifles, MINIMI and FN machine guns), plus the usual assortment of US-designed systems (M16s, M60s, MK19s, etc).
