Which airport has best/easiest links to Richmond?
No direct bus/train link that I know of from Heathrow to Richmond. From Heathrow you can take Piccadilly Line tube Eastbound to Hammersmith then change on to the District Line Westbound to Richmond. (You don’t need to go as far in as Earls Court and it’s more of pain to change there). If you take a train from Gatwick which stops at Clapham Junction you can then take a train from Clapham Junction to Richmond. Either way if you have a lot of luggage, it’s a pain. If you want to lash out you could try a cab company in Richmond called Black and White and ask them to pick you up at the airport – I think you can do this on-line. And, no, I don’t work for them! And if someone who says Heathrow Express gets best answer, I shall be just a smidge upset!
