Both aircraft are extremely safe to fly in and I don’t think the Boeing 757-300 has had an accident yet. However there are not as many flying either. Just know the airlines do have to meet federal regulations otherwise the airlines will get fined or have their aircraft grounded. Also most accidents involving aircraft are due to human error and weather versus structure related.
