Users have the option of using either the desktop (also known as the FAT client) and/or the web interface http://ocal.jmu.edu/ to Oracle Calendar. IF a user manages one/more resources, they need to use the desktop client ONLY to manage security for the resource. In other words, any user who is the primary contact for a resource, will be required to log onto Oracle Calendar using the desktop if/when they need to change security for the given resource. These resource manager users will have the option to ALWAYS use the desktop client if they prefer.
