Which 12″ sub should I go for – Pioneer TSW-3002D4, Alpine SWR-1242D, or Kicker CVX124?
Alpine SWR-1242D = 500w RMS, 1500W PEAK Pioneer TSW-3002D4 = 1000w RMS, 3500W PEAK Kicker 12″ 06CVX124 + 750r RMS, 1500W PEAK Im looking to buy TWO 12″ subs that have serious sound THAT ARE CAPABLE TO SET OFF CAR ALARMS, these 3 subs are the most appealing to me, in terms of value, soung quality and loudness! But Im not 100% sure about the kicker as some say their more SPL then SQ. JL v6 are much more expensive, possibly better quality in sound but not louder (Peak power) then these so not too keen paying extra $$$’s! Ive been getting feedback from peoples advising me to go for these Alpine Type R as they own them, but Id like to know if anyone has tested both of these subs out, and what they think? Obviously the pioneer sub has much louder and a 2000W+ amp can run on them, where as the Alpine wont be able to handle this. But overally which is the better one that has the best SQ+SPL? Ive read user reviews where a couple of people have stated the Pioneer is not far off from the JL Audio
