Whether the foreign universities are recognized by the Medical Council of India?
A. Under MCI regulations, Indian citizens seeking admission in a foreign medical institution on or after March 15, 2002, will need to approach MCI for issue of an Eligibility Certificate to study in any foreign university. This will allow candidates to apply for the MCI Screening Test-FMGE after completing the medical course abroad.
