Wheres the road repair stimulus money?
Please tell us where the road repair stimulus money is. Also which counties are considered economically depressed? I live in Van Buren County on County Road 669. Last October, our paved road was torn up to gravel. We were supposed to have it repaved this fall. Now they are telling us that there is no money. This is not just a country road. This road is well-traveled. We have semi-trucks and all kinds of traffic using our road. Now we are forced to put up with muddy ruts or gravel dust blowing. The chloride they use to keep the dust down eats the exterior of your car. President Obama, show us the money! We hear the Van Buren County Road Commission is planning on tearing up more roads and leaving them go to gravel permanently. Are we going back to medieval times?
