Located 330 km from Port Moody, Cache Creek is where about 500,000 tonnes of waste (per year), mostly from Metro Vancouver, is brought in, dumped and covered with soil. The facility is operated by Wastech under contract to Metro Vancouver and in co-operation with the Village of Cache Creek.
