Wheres the best parking in Athens for a home game?
Me and some buddies have 4 tickets to this weekends Georgia/Central Michigan game. I usually park around behind the Rhodes Animal Science Building right off College Station Rd. and just off the Athens loop highway. It’s building A in the following map: http://www.camplan.uga.edu/pdf/Curre…olor_24x36.pdf It’s not a bad place to park and it’s easy to get out of and back on the highway after a game. The walk in isn’t too bad because it’s fairly close to the bus stop in front of the East Campus Parking Deck. The problem is after a game. The buses don’t run until after the crowds clear out and it’s a LONG walk back and a lot of it is up hill. I took an old high school buddy a couple of years ago to his first Dawg’s game and it about killed him walking out because he’s very over-weight. Anyway, where is a good place to park and still be able to get out quickly to the loop highway after the game and not get caught up in the crowd too bad?
