The honest answer is that the best snorkeling is reached only by boat, thats why a lagoon tour is such a good idea. If youre keen on snorkeling, and you have time, plan on doing two or more tours. From the main island, youll find the best spots on the west side, where the majority of the hotels and resorts are located. Dont worry about the beaches being busy – thats never an issue here! And just FYI all beaches are public land and no resort can ask you to leave the beach area period.
