Wheres the apology from Sharpton, Jackson?
The Record’s Monday editorial regarding the three former Duke University athletes (“A painful lesson learned”) left out any reference to the stripper who not only lied to the police but had evidence of sexual activity with several other men prior to the party.Yes, we do live in a tragic world of “injustice” as was stated by Reade Seligmann, one of the falsely accused former players.One has only to look at the supposed black leaders – Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton – to see that “injustice.”Where are these two egomaniacs with a rush-to-judgment attitude now?Why haven’t they given a pubic apology to the Duke athletes and their coach?Our country will continue to have racial sensitivity and community division until the word “minority” is eliminated and everyone is considered the majority.Betty Thomas Stockton
