Wheres Hot in August?
In August it’s not the hot weather that’s hard to find but that sandy stretch of seaside property to call your own. There are a couple of choices, bearing in mind that it’s the summer school holidays and large swathes of seemingly civilised countries like France and Italy shut up shop and go on holiday to their own resorts. You can find a beach in a country not known for its beaches, like the UK, find a quiet, off the tourist highway spot in a classic summer destination like Tropea in Italy, or go somewhere the madding crowd can’t get at you – like Fiji for example. Beaches that may seem unlikely to you have the added advantage of seeming unlikely to other people too.
