Wheres Austrian-American Fulbright Scholar – Ted Farris?
Item posted Tuesday Apr 01, 2008 The College of Business is proud of Dr. Ted Farris’ designation as a 2007-2008 Fulbright Scholar by the Austrian-American Fulbright Commission. He is the second Fulbright Scholar named in the field of logistics. The Fulbright program was established to increase mutual understanding between the peoples of the United States and other countries through the exchange of persons, knowledge, and skills. It is considered one of the most prestigious award programs and operates in 144 countries. Dr. Farris left for Europe in February 2008 to begin his travel. In the next few months, we will post updates on the COBA website and in the e-newsletter about his work. He is scheduled to speak at many European universities about North American logisitics. Dr. Farris began his Fulbright journey with a orientation in Vienna. On March 1st, he traveled by train to Linz, which is located in upper middle Austria.
