hi loop, I think you won’t regret it if you choose to stay at the Pfister Hotel. The Pfister is right in the heart of Milwaukee and is close to everything. It is a little more than what you want to pay ($239.), but its well worth it. Too bad you’re not staying over a weekend, as Milwaukee has GREAT summer festivals on the beautiful lakefront. Summerfest starts at the end of June, runs thru July 6th and is open daily. Other things to do are: a Brewer’s baseball game at their beautiful roofed stadium nearby, or a 40 mile drive north to the quaint little town of Cedarburg, or a short drive to the Milwaukee Zoo which is very nice.
