Where would pro sports be without their loyal fans?
Last year it was Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren disparaging the fans with strong language. This past weekend it was the Mariners CEO Howard Lincoln saying, “We don’t apologize” for not allowing fans to display their support for the team and their disdain for the other team. To evict fans from the stadium that was built with tax dollars for wearing a “Yankees Suck” T-shirt without giving them a refund is ridiculous, and probably is a violation of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Maybe if fans would stay away from games for a while, team officials would begin to understand who is paying their bills. And the Yankees do suck! Joe Teeples Renton Darn it!
